I was looking for a lightweight backpack for personal use when I came across this one. I've been very impressed by the fit and finish of this bag. It's got a ton of useful touches that really make it great.Straight away, this bag has a ton of pockets. You will be able to really separate and organize your things with this backpack. As always, I was impressed by the fact that this bag has a key leash. That shows an attention to detail by the bag's manufacturer. I was also impressed by the light colored lining of the bag. If you are in the airport and quickly need to produce a ticket or luggage receipt, having a lining inside your bag that's light colored and in contrast to the outer material color really helps out a lot. The lining here is a light salmon color. The carrying straps are reinforced with a reasonable amount of padding. Combined with the light weight of the bag, the medium density of the carrying straps should be sufficient.Speaking of carrying things, this bag is advertised as being able to carry a 17 inch laptop. I didn't have a 17 inch laptop to test with, but my 16 inch workstation behemoth fit nicely in this bag with a lot of room to spare. I estimate that you could probably fit up to a 18 inch laptop or maybe a 19 inch monitor into this bag as long as the width wasn't too much. This bag is more long than it is wide, so YMMV.I don't really have any major complaints about this backpack. My only observation is that I think the material the main part of the bag is made out of could be a hair thicker. It's manufactured with the type of nylon produced from recycled water bottles. That makes it relatively strong and lightweight. The long-term durability aspect is what may be in question though.Overall, for the price I think this is a good buy.
