I’m pretty petite (5’3” 122 lbs) and this backpack isn’t oversized but isn’t tiny either. It’s just the right size for the 3 L water pouch, plus binoculars & other miscellaneous items. I didn’t initially realize the little yellow piece by the upper front clasp was a whistle until I put it on, so that’s a neat little addition! The straps are very comfortable. I haven’t hiked with it yet but hoping it remains comfortable throughout my upcoming 9 mile hike.
