This lovely backpack arrived with a manufacturer's problem: there was a large "pull" in the fabric of the top strap. Large enough to be noticed immediately. But can't photo it as it is black on black.Im happy with this bag. I bought it to carry my work laptop to and from the office. I wouldn’t call it a huge bag. It holds my 14 inch laptop comfortably. If you load the laptop from the top it’s easy. There is a side pocket for “easier access to the laptop.” It is sometimes a little bit of wrestling match to get the laptop out this way. I guess that’s good because I’d you forgot to zip it, it wouldn’t fall out on its own. The organization in the lower pocket is fairly useful. It’s not too much. I wish the bottom pocket was double zippered. I’m a fan of the “Molle” on the bottom pocket. After the laptop it can hold a decent sized binder without feeling like it’s overloaded.Overall I’m happy with it. I plan on adding a safety glasses holder to the molle part.I bought the backpack 2 weeks ago, it looks perfect when i got it. After using it for three days the upper pocket the stitching came to loose (see picture attached). I only put my phone and wallet there. Now i cannot use that pocket anymore. I don’t like the hassle on sending it back. I like the bag and i will still use it. I hope they can correct and improve their quality on their future products. Gave them 4/5 stars because the bag is perfect for my everyday carry to office.I use this bag every day. It's comfortable, stylish and holds everything I need it to. Since it does have a hook and loop system, I suggest that Timbuk2 offer (or partner with a company) to provide patches to pair with the bag.I really love the look of this backpack. For someone trying to get ready for the professional world, this definitely fits into that category. The only thing I wish that was different was the water bottle holder/pocket. It can fit a 21oz. bottle but anything bigger than that might not fit. I have a 32oz HydroFlask and that sometimes has a hard time fitting into the pocket. Other than that, this backpack meets all my needs.I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day, and he’s really liking it so far. I was about to purchase the original, but then found the 2.0 with the updated top closure and side zipper to easily access the laptop compartment, which is really convenient. He uses it for work, so it fits everything well. The quality is great, and I personally love the sleek look of it too. I’m definitely happy with this buy and would recommend it.Not as good a quality as the original 1.0 which felt more sturdy and made of premium materials.This does have a zip on top that allows for a wider opening to pull things out of the bag but overall it feels like they used lower quality materials alsLots of space and stylish.Looks great and convenient to use. Feels very durable and comfortable. Could not find an ideal place to lock a helmet. I was trying a lot but the helmet either moves around it hits the ground. It’s a cycling bag without a helmet lock. Go figure. The advertised air mesh doesn’t help even on short commutes. I want to keep it but may return it.Purchased for my daughter at Uni but it’s too utilitarian and not comfortable at all. Sent back same day we received.Love the design, lots of pockets to store and organize my gear. Quality seems great as well. Most certainly met my expectations.
