I love Exped products; I have an older pack I picked up in Wellington 10+ years ago and no complaints about it or any of the multiple pillows or down pads I have purchased over the years. This pack is the exception in that it has a bottom to it that involves a seam running directly across the bottom back end closest to the support padding and it simply digs right into my back when I have the pack on. I am experimenting with super loose shoulder straps and trying to get the pack to work but unless you are a tiny person, don’t be surprised if this is a painful pack to use, I am not giving up on it yet but buyer beware.
