The school district wanted either a mesh or clear bag when switching class. I wasn't trying to buy two bookbags. I'm glad he did have a clear bag because an incident happened where they had to search his bag and they clearly saw my son didn't have anything and wasn't even involved. Super thankful although he was scared. My son is horrible with bags. I get him one at least twice a year. He hates stoping at his locker. This forces him to go and not carry the extra weight for his almost mile long walk to school..I have tried SEVERAL clear backpacks for 4 children and was tired of buying new one every 6 month.However this backpack lasted the whole school year so this is our 3rd year purchase.My kids carry notebooks, Chromebook, even lunch bag inside but it us not huge. It is thick and durable as well. Toward the end of school year, the mesh pocket is pretty torn from getting big Hydroflasks in and out but it still holds a water bottle. I am happy with this bag pack and will buy again next year.Our district recently went to clear backpacks. They provided on but it broke like 2 weeks in. So I had to purchase another one. Since I’m a teacher I carry A-LOT! This particular backpack has great reviews and has great support!
